2025-2026 GRANTS

Applicants were invited to apply for funding in up to two of the four funding areas, for a total of up to $80,000. This round of Community Grants will be awarded in four Funding Areas:



  • Connected Communities
  • Emergency Preparedness, Individual Rights, and Safety
  • Optimized Health and Longevity
  • Economic Security and Vitality

COMMUNITY GRANTS  ROUND TWO

The Age-Friendly Minnesota Council is offering a second round of Community Grants designed to expand the reach and impact of age-friendly work through diverse community initiatives, systems change efforts, and community development, as well as the Multisector Blueprint for Aging. The application deadline was November 8, 2024, 4:00 pm CST. Please see below for an anticipated grants process timeline.


Key dates: 

  • Grant Applicant Conference: 10:30-12:30 October 16, 2024
  • Grant Questions Deadline: 4 p.m. October 16, 2024
  • Technical Assistance Requests: 4 p.m. October 17, 2024
  • Technical Assistance Matches: October 22, 2024
  • Grant Application Due Date: 4 p.m. November 8, 2024
  • Grantee Notification of Awards: February 12, 2025
  • 13-month Grant Cycle: February 12, 2025 - March 31, 2026
